Hey, I’m Ty, the creative eye and driving force behind Dream State Media.

Originally from Baltimore and now based in Charlotte, North Carolina, I’ve always believed that some of life’s greatest stories aren’t told through words, but through the moments we capture.

What started as a passion for photography has grown into something much bigger. Today, I bring stories to life through photography, cinematic videography, creative direction, and visual content creation.

From family portraits, graduations, and weddings to milestone celebrations, community events, and promotional campaigns, I love turning real experiences into lasting memories. I’ve also expanded my creativity into working with small businesses, helping brands tell their stories through engaging commercials, social media content, and professional imagery that makes an impact.

But beyond the camera, I’m a husband, father, entrepreneur, and a man of faith. Those parts of my life shape how I approach every project, with purpose, patience, creativity, and a genuine appreciation for people’s stories.

How do I book a session?

Choose the service you want, select an available date and time, and submit your booking request.

How long does it take to receive my photos?

Turnaround depends on the type of session, but you’ll receive an estimated delivery time before your shoot.

Do you require a deposit?

A retainer may be required to secure your date. Any remaining balance will be outlined during booking.

Do you offer both photography and videography?

Yes. Dream State Media offers photography, videography, and creative content for portraits, events, brands, and businesses.

Can you help with posing?

Absolutely. You don’t need to know how to pose. I’ll guide you throughout the session so everything feels natural.

Can I choose the location?

Yes. We can shoot at an agreed location, and I can also help recommend spots based on the look you’re going for.
